Sustainability
Our Mission
We opened shop in 2020 with the vision to create quality home goods that are better for our customers and the planet. Some highlights of Happy Place are our environmental certifications, sustainable manufacturing practices, and guaranteed fair wages to growers and factory workers. For us, knowing that love and quality has gone into your product means the world.
We want to do right by our customers, and that starts with the fabrics we use. Our textiles are made from 100% organic cotton. Organic cotton is naturally hypoallergenic and made from renewable resources. It also has the highest energy efficiency of any crop in the world.
Next comes the manufacturing process, where we turn those raw materials into an affordable luxury. Our top of the line equipment processes the cotton and sews it into our iconic Weightless Waffle, Poolside, and Gauzy fabrics.
Unlike most manufacturers, we NEVER use synthetic dyes, solvents, or cotton stabilizers. Our fabrics are completely toxin free. Customers can rest easy knowing about our quality guarantee. If you don’t love it, you can return the item in 30 days and receive a new item or a full refund.
Our Planet
We believe we all share responsibility in the future of our planet. Our children and future generations depend on the actions we take today. A sustainable planet starts with sustainable living, and to that point, our economy must transition to focus on Green and ethically made home goods.
Our commitment to these ideals starts at the ground level. We partner with the best factories, organizations and suppliers to ensure our products are eco-friendly and traceable.
We use recycled water in the processing of our fabrics and 100% post-consumer recycled materials in our packaging.
Recycled water:
We use a water effluent treatment plant that cleans our water and allows us to reusue our factory’s water supply. The cleaned water goes back into the manufacturing process.
Recycled packaging:
All our packaging, including hang tags, poly bags & boxes are made from post-consumer recycled materials. Everything is fully recyclable.
